“A Home in Christ” is a family app with local profiles and no required account. Names entered by the family, children’s age groups, the family patron saint, favorite content, reading history, settings, and progress are stored on the device.
LOCAL DATA
On iOS and Android devices, local state uses protected system storage. The web version uses the browser’s local storage. The data is used to personalize age settings, script, theme, reminders, the family journey, and saved progress. Deleting the app or browser data removes this local state.
ANONYMOUS MESSAGES
The contact form sends only the text the user writes, the chosen topic, language, platform, and app version. Email remains optional. When the email field is empty, the message contains no direct identifier for the sender. Do not include children’s names, their contact details, or other sensitive information.
PURCHASES AND SUBSCRIPTIONS
The App Store or Google Play processes billing and payment method information. RevenueCat links the store receipt, purchased product, access entitlement, renewal status, and anonymous installation identifier. The app does not receive your full payment card number. Purchase data is retained in accordance with store policies, RevenueCat’s terms, and applicable legal obligations.
CHILDREN AND FAMILY SPACE
An adult manages the family profile. The app has no public profiles, comments, direct messages, advertising identifiers, or social network. The built-in content does not ask children to send a photo, voice recording, location, or free-form text to the server.
REMINDERS AND PERMISSIONS
Morning and evening reminders are enabled through a clear user choice. The device system requests permission for notifications. The app does not request access to contacts, the microphone, the camera, or precise location for basic operation.
SELECTIONS AND CONTACT
Notification permission can be changed in your system settings. Purchases can be restored through your store account, and subscriptions are managed through the App Store or Google Play. Support contact information and privacy-related requests are available on the app’s store page. Significant changes to this policy will receive a new effective date.
